I attended the University of North Dakota for my undergraduate studies in health sciences, and remained active on campus during my time at UND. I received early acceptance into the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. I volunteered every year for a program that serves many children that do not receive routine dental care, called Give Kids a Smile. While at the U of MN, I enjoyed the opportunity to be an ambassador for the dental school. I also represented my dental class in an intra professional organization at the University of Minnesota.
