Everyone has a frenum, but in some people the frenum “fails” to recede and is too tight.
The Tongue and Lip are a complex group of muscles and are important for all oral functions. For this reason, tongue tie can lead to nursing, bottle feeding, dental, speech, sleep and solid feeding issues.

Comprehensive Oral Examination

Routine Cleanings
Annual care can range from 3 to 6 months. Prophylaxis, or “cleanings,” are crucial to maintaining the health of the tissue surrounding your teeth. Our expert hygienists remove any tartar, plaque, or build-up that can harm your gum tissue.
Radiographs

Pediatric Care
At Aspire Health Dental, we prioritize the dental health and well-being of children through our specialized pediatric care services. Our experienced team is dedicated to creating a friendly and welcoming environment for young patients, ensuring their visits are both enjoyable and stress-free.
Pediatric Oral Health Evaluation
The American Dental Association recommends children to start seeing their dentist as soon as their first tooth erupts. Upon evaluation, where more extensive treatment is needed, Dr. Eberts and her staff utilize a variety of methods to ensure children enjoy coming to the dentist. Aspire Dental offers Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas), an iPad to watch shows, and dental toys.
Routine Cleanings
Our hygienists make each cleaning for children comfortable by speaking in terms that children will understand and only performing procedures necessary. They will remove any plaque, polish (or tickle) the teeth, and floss the teeth.
Pediatric Radiographs
At Aspire Dental, we use state of the art radiation equipment and pediatric sensors to make taking x-rays fun for children.
Sealants
We recommend sealants for all new molars in children. Sealants are used to prevent decay in common areas of the 6 and 12-year molars.
Therapies
At Aspire Health Dental, we provide a wide range of therapeutic services designed to address various dental needs and promote overall oral health. Our expert team utilizes the latest techniques and advanced technologies to deliver personalized care.
Periodontal (gum) Disease Therapy
This therapy may be indicated when a patient is diagnosed with periodontal disease. Other factors such as genetics and environment are considered when confirming diagnosis. Also referred to as a “deep cleaning,” periodontal disease therapy is necessary to remove years of build-up calculus, or tartar that inhibiting gum health. Once completed, routine maintenance may be necessary every three to four months to prevent disease from increasing.
TMJ/TMD Treatment
Pain or discomfort with the temporomandibular joint (jaw joint) can affect day-to-day function of the head, neck and mouth. Our office works side by side with Dr. Marvin Eberts, Chiropractor, and our physical therapists to treat any disorder that is present with laser therapy, counterstrain and chiropractic treatment.
Myofunctional Therapy
Used to correct the improper function of the tongue and facial muscles.

Release Procedure
- Simple procedure with minimal complications when using the laser with good technique.
- The laser allows for excellent visualization and precision during the procedure to achieve a full release of all the fibers.
- Can be performed as early as a couple of days after birth and can be performed into adulthood.
- Once it is discovered, the sooner the issue is addressed the better the procedure will work and the less issues the child or infant will have.
- The procedure is performed in our office with numbing jelly, or numbing medicine depending on the age of the child.
- Dr. Eberts uses the highest quality, state of the art CO2 laser to perform the release.
- The laser gently removes the tight tissue with minimal bleeding, no stitches and no sedation or general anesthesia.
- The procedure itself takes about 20 seconds or less.
- The baby is allowed to nurse immediately following the procedure.
